Ever heard of that shampoo... that you use and your hair ends up drying curly.
If it does work... do you think it would work on very VERY straight, medium thickness hair.Does that ';wash n' curl'; shampoo even work?
I got the book Curly Girl (by Massey) from the library a few days ago. I had considered myself to have dead-straight hair. I actually have a slight wave. Whether my hair dries straight or with waves depends on how I dry it. Any setting lotion or conditioner helps. Having the hair dry twisted or rolled or even just scrunched up makes a world of difference.
The test for this is to soak your hair and look at the ringlets or hanks when it's completely immersed in water. Squish the hair toward your head. If it just folds once, you have dead-straight hair. If it accordion-folds, then you have potentially wavy or curly hair.
Also check the videos at the JessiCurl website. They aren't limited to use with her products.Does that ';wash n' curl'; shampoo even work?
DEFINATLY NOT.
it made my hair all tangly.
i think its mostly for people with the blow dry straight hair but if you dont blow dry it its curly..them people.
Nope!! IT doesn't work. Trust I've tried it. My hair is really straight, medium thick just like yours. It looked like I stuck my finger in a light socket!!! It didn't work on me. =/
I was really disappointed, it didn't work for me either. Starlit Waves by John Frieda worked a little better for me, especially if I spray it on, and then put my hair in one or two buns.
I don't think that works. What you could do is this;
If your wanting curls then: get in the shower and bath as normal, when u get out comb ur hair and do little braids all throughout your hair. Sleep over night and in the morning take them out. Your hair will be perfectly curly!
It works for me!
yeah i've heard of it...i wouldn't recommend it. i doubt any shampoo can turn straight hair to curly from just washing...just try curling your hair the old fashion way with a curling iron or curlers.
I've tried using that shampoo on my thin, straight hair, but all it did was make my hair frizzy and it didnt stay in long anyway.
Not for straight hair. It's for curly hair that needs more curl definition or for people w/ wavy hair. It's not worth it if you have straight hair. Not at all.
NO!!! The makers are liars!!! I have very thin hair and it didn't work at all... Bu the way the shampoo isn't supposed to make your hair curly right away it's that if you use it THEN curl ur hair with a curling iron it is supposed to make it stay better but id DOESN'T!!!
probably not.if it did people would not pay to have perms
