No, definitely not. Hair holds a curl so much better when it hasn't been washedIs it better to shampoo and condition your hair before you curl it?
Hey there.
It really depends what kind of hair straightener you have. if you have the Wet to straight then it's okay, but if you have the normal ceramic ones then make sure you blow dry and use heat protectant before you curl/straighten your hair =)Is it better to shampoo and condition your hair before you curl it?
This is going to sound like common sense but....if your hair is dirty, wash it first. If you want your curls to stay in for a few days and you don't want to wash it for a few days, wash it first. Otherwise, if you hair is clean just go ahead and curl it. :)
shampoo yes. condition no since it weighs it down -unless your hair is hugely think and frizzy
I would. Conditioner makes your hair soft and neat and tidy. You want that before you curl because knots when curling can be a total pain!! Shampoo is also good because who wants dirty curls? LOL! Good Luck!
:)
no your hair holds the crul better if you wash it the day before.
Shampoo the day before but hold out on the conditioner. The curls will not hold so well if the hair has been freshly washed and conditioned. Use good strong hold hair products too.
yes, your hair should be fresh to get the best results, especially if you are using a curling iron to get the curls
any will do nothing really really cheap
I always found styling dirty hair lasts longer than clean.
No! Hair usually curls a lot easier when there are natural oils in it
yes..it works better for me!i have really straight hair so its hard to curl bu tit usually helpss or when u r hair is a little wet when u curl its better..but it depends on what kind of hair u got..
:]]
it doesnt really matter but it just looks softer and mory shiny
ya know wut im sayin
yes
Depands on your hair type, I usally do not condition mine when I curl it, I find the curls hold better. But make sure the next day or later that night when you wash it agian to condition it so it won't get too dry. Hope that helps. Good Luck
NO! You should wash it and condition a day before you plan on curling it. You need your natural oils so that you hair will hold the curl.
it really doesnt matter but its better to because your hairs not as oily so it will curl better and if you really want tremendous gorgeous locks try using a styling gel like perology or even bb tonic which is a lotion that protects your hair from the damage caused by heat or even a styling/texurizing spray trust me i have strait hair and it used to take everything for me to keep my hair curly.
Yes, you shouldnt curl '; dirty'; hair. I would say wash and condition your hair before putting any style to it. Make sure it is completely dry , then curl it. It will look much better if you have washed and conditioned your hair before using any irons.
Absolutely! Why waste all that time curling filthy hair which you're going to have to wash the next day?
ya!
No..it's better without using them
Curling your hair while it's wet will help it hold better.
probably i would
curls stay in longer if you don't wash your hair right before
