What shampoo will bring out the curls in my hair?

I have very curly hair. But because i am afro american, i need a shampoo or something, to tame the kinks, and bring out the curls. i heard herbal essences is goodWhat shampoo will bring out the curls in my hair?

im not african american but i do have very thick curly hair.. and i swear ive tried every product out there.. i like garnier fructice.. herbal essences doesnt work for me.. and pantene. make sure u get the shampoo that is made for curly hair. if u want a hair straightener try the royale. i got one for $150 and it works great. u may think its not worth it but its is. think about how much it costs to get ur hair straight mines like 40. it usually take me 2 hours to get my hair straight but with this i did it by myself in 40 minutes. PLUS im really slow.
Not a shampoo. The leave-ins is what work cuz u put it in your hair after u wash it... i recommend Miss Jessies Curly Pudding, Aveda ';Be Curly';. And Curly Buttercream by Miss Jessies is okay but it weighs your hair down.
